Rex De Castro

Rex is committed to empowering nurses. He agrees nurses should be paid more. He believes the nurses and the patients they care for deserve it. With his two children requiring an abundant amount of hospital care in the first years of their lives, Rex experienced first hand, the facilities struggle to staff nurses from the perspective of the patient and perspective of the family member of the nurse. It was after that experience, along with his wife Simone, Rex decided to open up NurseX Corporation and give healthcare professionals as much as he possibly can financially, while helping the healthcare facilities save on costs. When his Daughter Beatrix was admitted as a cancer care patient in 2018, his neighbor down the street donated 30 Million dollars to the children's hospital in his home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rex's goal is to donate over 50 Million dollars to all children's cancer care facilities and children's hospitals across the Canadian province's he serves.

Simone Jannetta
Operations Manager
Simone has over a decade of Emergency department experience as well as experience working in a variety of settings including orthopedic, general and post acute neuro surgical units, acute and chronic medicine, palliative care and nursing telecare. Spending the majority of her time working on the front lines, Simone has seen the intense struggle to maintain adequate staffing ratios to provide safe patient care and has chosen to be part of an innovative strategy to change the way nurses work and fill shifts in Canada. Since switching careers to operations and management, Simone now oversees contracts from Western to Eastern Canada, and ensures our contractors, partners and team have everything they need to succeed.
